Hi Friends!
Do you knit or crochet socks? Do you like to blog about them and share your progress? The first Thursday of every month, my friends and I link up with each other and talk about our socks…the good, the bad, and the ugly. The beauty of a link up party is the ability to jump in and out when you want to share….even if you’ve knit just one row or want to talk about what you’re dreaming of making next. Click the link below to join in, follow the instructions, then link back to my blog so we can all share in the happiness of your gorgeous socks!
Once again, I have not gotten much progress done on my socks. I’ll spare you a photograph as I’ve only gotten another four rows done on both socks. I’ve been busy with crochet projects and haven’t gotten in a lot of knitting. During that time, I did finish a baby blanket and another 16 squares on the coatigan I’m working on for a friend 🙂
I’m still dreaming about the day that I’m finished with other projects, but then new ones keep popping up. Would people around me just stop having babies for awhile? Seriously, though, I think I need to stop saying “Yes” to everything.
Instead, I’ll share with you my last Sockhead Hat. I actually finished it while we were in London. I forgot to bring a hat and it was a wee bit chilly, so I had strong motivation! It’s still not blocked, but kept my head warm the rest of my trip, and for that, I’m thankful. The featured pic shows the slouchiness. Below is a pic of hubby and I with a gorgeous London sunset behind us. We were walking back to our hotel after a yummy dinner and good wine. You can check out the Ravelry notes for the other pictures 🙂
Speaking of which…

Well, I hope you accomplished more on the sock knitting front than I did! If things continue as they are, I may only have another sockhead update next month 🙂 We’ll see!

Love the pic of you and hubby! This light grey beanie goes so well with your fun hair.

Thanks so much Stefanie! I really like that pic too 🙂 I have several colors of this hat now and always wanted a neutral so it would go with all my different hair colors…although purple has stuck around the longest!
